One of my favorite things to do as a kid was flip through photo albums. Most of the pictures in those albums are blurry, barely in focus, and poorly lit- but they are also spontaneous, authentic, goofy, and most of all, real. In this day and age, everyone with a cell phone can take a picture over and over again until they get it right. But what we end up missing out on is the real, authentic moments that fill our old photo albums. So for your next photo shoot, let your kids play, make your partner laugh, get goofy, and let me do the rest. I promise, I’m getting all the good stuff.
My goal is to create clear, beautiful, high quality pictures without sacrificing the authenticity of what’s happening in the moment. If you have pets, bring them!
